We are seeking a forward-thinking Deputy Chief Engineer to support the planning, design, and implementation of water, wastewater, and reclaimed water infrastructure for our growing utility organization. This is a highly responsible, supervisory role that plays a vital part in managing engineering staff, contractors, and consultants to ensure the successful execution of public utility projects.
Under the general supervision of the Chief Engineer, this role involves overseeing complex engineering initiatives, supervising technical staff, managing capital projects, reviewing development plans, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate is a skilled engineer and leader, capable of delivering infrastructure solutions that meet both current and future community needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering field from an accredited institution.
Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred.
Valid Georgia driver’s license.
Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
