Description

This year's keynote topic: Think Big. Thrive Local. Your Path to Sustainable Growth & Standout Success

In this time of community growth and change, there’s no better moment to Think and Thrive. In this high-energy talk, Jes Averhart shares the formula for thriving in today’s market: lead with clarity, scale with purpose and own your differential value.

You’ll learn how to play to your strengths, sidestep burnout, and lead with your “highest and best use” in mind—no matter your zip code. Whether you’re downtown or outside the walkable core, there’s room for your business to shine.

It's time to sharpen your tools for success and set the tone for what’s next—because the Titans of tomorrow are in this room.

Our keynote speaker:

Jes Averhart is a 4th generation entrepreneur, creator of Reinvention Road Trip® and 3x award-winning author. She advises high-performing individuals and corporate teams as a master certified life coach and professional leadership advisor.

Over the last two decades, Jes has worked with a portfolio of Fortune 500 companies, public sector organizations and high-performing individuals interested in increased personal growth and greater professional impact. Her 20 years of cross-industry corporate engagement means she’s worked with Amazon, Palo Alto Networks, The Kroger Company, Google for Startups, Microsoft, Cisco, Research Triangle Park companies, United Way Worldwide North Carolina Advocates of Justice and Blue Cross Blue Shield, just to name a few.

In 2015, Jes co-founded Black Wall Street Homecoming, a nonprofit aimed at closing the funding gap for Black and Brown tech founders. Earlier in her career, she provided production management services for the likes of the Cincinnati Bengals & Cleveland Browns (NFL), Cleveland Cavaliers (NBA), the Procter & Gamble Company and Pepsi Cola North America.

Originally from Evansport, Ohio, Jes moved to North Carolina in 2005 with her son Tre'. When she's not working, you can find her cheering on The Ohio State Buckeyes.
