The Great Southeast Pollinator Census

During the University of Georgia Extension Service's Great Southeast Pollinator Census, Sustainable Newton will host counting events on Friday and Saturday.

For Friday afternoon, we will be joined at the Satsuki Garden Club Pollinator Garden in Academy Springs Park by Covington's foremost pollinator experts -- Connie & David Waller. Check out our video below to see just how much the Wallers know about the butterflies, bees, and other critters you'll be watching and counting. Sustainable Newton volunteers will also be on hand with worksheets and reference materials to equip all of you citizen scientists.
