Sustainable Newton hosts Mike Hopkins, Executive Director, Newton Co Water and Sewerage Authority

Mike Hopkins will discuss what NCWSA is doing to conserve water and protect our watershed. Among the many projects Mike will update us on is the innovative A. Scott Emmons Water Reclamation Facility the authority is building in East Newton County to reclaim water for reuse by industrial customers in Stanton Springs and Stanton Springs North. Mike will also talk about ways in which the authority is reducing single-use plastics by providing quality tap water, reusable bottles, and filling stations at community events.
