Our Annual "Almost World Famous" Chicken BBQ

Please come and join us at our Lions Clubhouse at the corner of Conyers St. and Legion Dr. We will start serving at 11:00am and stop at 7:00pm. The cost is $9.00 per plate, you will get one of our "Allmost World Famous BBQ chicken half, a bag of chips, container of cole slaw, 2 pieces of bread and a drink. You can join the community of friends and eat in the clubhouse or get your dinner to go. We also have a drive through pick up wnidow on Legion Drive in the American Legion parking lot. We will also be selling raffle tickets for our 50/50 drawing that will be held on the square on July 4th before the fireworks display. This is our 2nd 50/50 raffle and at the last one a member of our community won $2,800.00. no need to be present to win. We will be selling tickets during the BBQ and all over Covington. We hope to be able to have a local person win more that our last raffle. We need your help, please think of those that need help, this is what the Lions Club does. Our motto since 1917 is "WE SERVE". Each year we donate over $25,000.00 to help thse in need. Our 5 Initiavites are "CHILDHOOD CANCER" "DIABETES" "ENVIRONMENT" "HUNGER" "VISION". Your purchase of a chicken dinner and a raffle ticket will help us improve the lives of our fellow citizens. We are looking forward to you eating with us.
