Description
Adopt a duck, save a life! The Boys & Girls Clubs of North Central Georgia will be hosting the First Annual Duck Derby on June 30, 2018 at Porterdale Yellow River Park. Anyone can adopt one of 5,000 rubber duckies for $20. On June 30 we will dump them all in the Yellow River, and the first duck to float across the finish line wins $10,000! Other prizes include tickets to Disney World, Your Pie for a Year, golf at The Oaks Golf Course in Covington, and a Webber Grill. You can purchase a duck at various locations throughout Newton County or online at www.bgcncg.com/duckderby.
