Come to the Keeping Georgia Wild Family Festival on Saturday\, May 18. This FREE fun-filled event runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center's Discovery Area in Mansfield and will be held rain or shine.\n\nFree admission includes an array of activities that focus on Georgia wildlife\, conservation\, and outdoor recreational opportunities. Kids can try archery\, fishing\, shooting sports\, and tree climbing. Live animal presentations\, crafts\, solar viewing with the Charlie Elliott Astronomy Club\, and exhibitors displaying wildlife-themed booths add to the festivities.\n\nThe first 500 kids receive a free event t-shirt. A free hotdog lunch is available for all from 11:00am   1:00pm or while supplies last.\n\nSponsors/Partners: Georgia Wildlife Federation\, GA DNR Wildlife Resources Division\, The National Wild Turkey Federation & FCA outdoors.
