DESCRIPTION:COVINGTON LIONS CLUB ANNUAL CHICKEN BBQ!!\n\nThe time has come to start thinking about taking the family or friend's out to eat. We would be honored to serve you a great meal. \n\nWednesday April 12th. we will be holding our Annual Chicken BBQ event and we would love to serve you\, family and friend's. Starting at 11:am we will start serving our "ALMOST WORLD FAMOUS" CHICKEN BBQ DINNERS.\n\n$12.00 PER PLATE\, INCLUDES 1/2 BBQ CHICKEN\, SLAW\, CHIPS\, SAUCE AND BREAD.\n\nWe will only be cooking 2\,500 chickens and they will go fast. We ask that you please purchase your tickets in advance so you will be able to get this fine dinner.  Tickets are available from any Covington Lions Club member and also at the checkout counter at Mayfield ACE Hardware. \n\nThis is our largest and most important fund raiser of the year. Since 1952\, thanks to the people of Covington and all over Newton County\, our local neighbors and friends have supported us and allowed us to put 100% of our profits back into our community to help improve the lives of people in need.
